Game Play
- The player to break the balls will be decided by toss of a coin. Winner of the toss decides who breaks
- The balls are racked with the Black ball in the centre of the triangle with the first ball of the rack on the foot spot. A Stripe ball in one bottom corner and a Solid in the other
- The cue ball is to be placed and played from on the line at the head of the table
- When the choice of groups (Stripe or Solid) has not yet been determined, the table is open. It is legal to hit solid first to make a stripe or vice-versa.
- If a player pots more than one ball of different combinations when the table is open, continue the break and play the ball that fell first.
- If a player legally pots their own ball and their opponents ball, continue the break with no penalty
- Players are not to intentionally foul. Continually making Intentional foul shots may result in disqualification from the tournament at the Tournament Directors discretion.
- The player must hit one of their own group of balls first (except when table is open)
- If the cue ball is potted or comes off the table, the ball must be place and played from on the line at the head of the table and directed towards the foot of the table.
- Jump shots are not permitted
